About us
Newgrange Fine Foods is an Irish family run business. It was set up in 2000 by Michael McAllister and Ronan Carr and has been growing ever since.
Michael began The Fresh Soup Company’s journey from his home kitchen selling soup to local businesses. Alongside business partner and brother-in-law Ronan, they took the company from home to large scale production and nationwide distribution. Now, the business mans a purpose built manufacturing facility that is HACCP compliant and BRC grade A accredited, ensuring the highest level of food safety.
Available are a wide range of award winning handmade soups, sauces, porridge, potato products and more. Only fresh ingredients sourced from the Boyne Valley are used which gives the products their authentic homemade taste. Sourcing locally supports local suppliers and in turn, grows Irish jobs. All products are free from artificial flavourings, additives and preservatives. The company takes pride in supporting the local community and supplying tasty quality produce.

Soups
Newgrange own brand retail soups are sold nationwide in Aldi stores across Ireland. They can also be found in local butchers and shops in the Co. Louth area. They come in 1 Litre buckets so are perfect for large families or weekly lunches. All the favorites are available, including Cream of Vegetable, Tomato & Basil and Chicken & Vegetable.
Newgrange Potato Croquettes
Creamy mash potato encased in a golden crispy crumb. These handmade buttery croquettes are made from fresh Irish Rooster potatoes and are a strong family favorite. Perfect alongside grilled steak, fish or even for Sunday roast.
Newgrange Pasta Sauces
Presenting one of the few fresh Irish pasta sauces soon to be available on the market. Made weekly using fresh vegetables and herbs, they are perfect for quick midweek lunch or dinner paired with some garlic bread or even a glass of wine. Our current range includes fragrant Tomato & Basil and spicy, garlicy Arrabiata.
Newgrange Fresh Porridge
Made from only two ingredients, Irish milk and Flahavan’s oats, this creamy porridge is a healthy way to start your day. Add toasted nuts, fresh fruits and nut butters to make it your own or simply pair with honey.
